OCAW’s  “Sharing our Dim Sum” Project

Dear Current and Past OCAW members:

The Organization of Chinese American Women invites you to submit your ideas for an upcoming book designed to offer career and personal advice for the next generation of Chinese American women.  The prizes are:

	Amount of Prize Money
First Prize	$ 2,500
Second Prize	$ 1,000
Third Prize	$    500

 

The one-page application has four questions and is attached.  The Personal Information will not be published.  The purpose is so that we can get the prize money to the winners.  The second question is a brief biography, the third question is the shared wisdom, and the fourth question asks for your favorite recipe.  The Contest Application is located under “Local Chapters.”  The deadline is:  February 12, 2010

The contest criteria are as follows:

Contest Criteria

1.      Outstanding – Public recognition of personal and professional success;

2.      Compassionate – Life long service to others and community;

3.      Accomplished- Individual accomplishment of goal(s) that promote public good; and,

4.      Women – must have high moral character and integrity.

Note:  Recipe should be original or family recipe; but, if you use a recipe from someplace else, you must give credit to the recipe’s creator and you will receive fewer points.
